A week away

We went camping in June at Hungry Horse. The weather was not very summery. It was chilly most days and we even had rain some of the days but it was nice to sit around a bonfire and actually want to feel the heat from the fire. We anticipated the mosquitoes being really bad so we set up our screen tent so we could still sit and eat outside and Abigail could play in the screen tent. The first night there the bugs were bad! Then second night there they fogged the campground and the bugs were all but gone for the rest of the week!
Wearing jackets and sweatshirts for lunch:
We did a lot of swinging at the playground. She always slipped forward in this style swing. There were a lot of kids there so Abbi had tons to watch. She loved it! A large group camping by us were from my school and a few of kids I had as students. That was super fun to see them all again and to watch them dote on Abigail. I even found out that a few of them are readers here (Hi Megan!).
Most of the time this girl is active so I love holding her and giving her a bottle after her nap.
Bath time in the trailer (one of the only bath photos you'll ever see here!).
This was the trip that made Abigail fall in love with watermelon. Oh my. She has it about everyday.
Vacation has to be about relaxing right? Put your feet up Dear...
Those curls get extra curly in the humidity:
