S'more Cabin Fun

Decided to head up to the cabin after our last attempt. Abigail was so tired when we got home from church she begged to take a nap (!!) so the three of us ate brunch while she napped. 

 Reading books in the morning:

 Bundled up with his hat on while we stir the fire up.

 Abbi got to stay up later than Elijah and eat s'mores.

Happy Valentines Day!

So. Much. Snow.

 Just when I thought we couldn't get anymore snow we get more and more. I keep heading outside to take pictures thinking "this must be the tallest it's going to get before we get some sunny days or warmer weather, like above freezing maybe, ha!"

 Derek trying to rake off the roof since that snow is just so heavy we don't want it to damage anything.

 It was so deep he decided to use the snow blower to remove the snow from the deck!

Bubble Bath

 It gets so cold up in the kids' bathroom right now that we've been having fun using the jacuzzi tub instead. Abigail always wants the jets on so we have to fill it up higher than we usually do with Elijah's baths. Plus, they want bubbles along with the jets so the bubbles just get out of control and usually one of us ends up sitting in there to hold Elijah's head above the bubbles so he doesn't slip. Never a dull moment. Sometimes we have to throw a dash of conditioner in there to settle the bubbles down (we don't have fabric softener).

No News is Good News

Well, in this case it is. Life has just become busier with our little family and this blog is last on the list unfortunately. I do love how it captures our daily lives in picture form though so we'll see if I can jump back on here every once in a while. Maybe if I add some posts month by month. We've made a lot of memories since I last blogged in May and said goodbye to a few dear grandparents even. We're also getting ready to welcome the next little Wright in a few months. April 25 is the due date, so sometime around Easter we'll all find out: boy or girl? I'm in nesting mode so maybe this little blog will actually get updated; a new baby is a pretty crazy motivator.
