A favorite place to go on an open summer night is South Haven. This evening we packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed a walk along the channel and pier. We always end the evening with a stop at Sherman's Dairy!

Rainy Day Fun
What do you do when it rains? Pull the cars out and play in the garage!
We transformed the garage into a city.
We had a gas station (Quality),
a candy store,
and a hardware store (Sears to be specific).

Nine Months Old
Happy, happy, happy.
Just look at those teeth! He's up to six now, and they're sharp!
Look who found his toes.

Holland State Park
At the last minute we found an open spot for the weekend out by the beach.
These kiddos love to camp.
It was hot... can you tell?
Here's my attempt to keep the chips and bread from getting crushed (and sitting in the sunlight). Works pretty good! It's just some 3M Command Hooks and an old closet organizer.

Hungry Horse Campground
We camped at Hungry Horse and on the Fourth of July they had a great truck parade! Lots of cool trucks and tractors... and candy!
We had to cover Elijah's ears when the firetrucks came by. He loved watching the parade though; both kids watched the entire two hours!
We also spent a lot of time at the pool. They have a "normal" pool and a really nice kiddy pool.

Independence Day
We enjoyed a beautiful Fourth of July, remembering Grandpa Boeve, as it was always the day he shared his birthday with the United States.
The family - missing Chris and Elizabeth in Seattle... maybe that's why we left such a funny gap in the middle?... :)
Grandma and the whole gang.
